Wedding photos turned into GIF’s. A good idea or just a cheap gimmick? Please feel free to comment an offer your opinion.
Wedding photos turned into GIFs is a genius idea.
Who wouldn’t want to be able to replay that special moment again and again?
Jeffrey Lewis Bennett, a wedding photographer and owner of JLB Wedding in Detroit, came up with the idea while taking a series of photos for a couple in 2011.
The couple, Patrick and Denise, mentioned their love of GIFs and asked Bennett to make one from that day.
Bennett hasn’t looked back since.
The photographer has made the wedding photo GIF his go-to photography offer.
Bennett says that his GIFs aren’t made up of video, but rather photos in order to give them a stop motion look.
It only takes a few minutes during the photo session for me to set up the camera, tripod and remote release, and to coach the subjects on what to do, whether that’s a repeating movement or just standing as still as possible.
I believe the best GIFs communicate the feeling of the infinite… Like how a great kiss can feel like it’s lasting a lifetime while the rest of the world spins on outside of your private moment.
